Steamboat Stomp’s mission is to present the historically and culturally significant performance of jazz on the Mississippi River. The festival will feature some of the world’s finest musicians playing New Orleans-style jazz on one of the last authentic steamboats in the United States. The festival will generate new interest and further the appreciation for what is arguably the city’s most important indigenous music tradition. Steamboat Stomp 2016 will offer three days of live performances from featured bands and soloists, September 23-25, 2016. The All Event pass, single event tickets as well as sponsorship level participation will be available. Below are some of our past performers. The lineup for 2016 includes Yerba Buena Stompers, Dukes of Dixieland, Duke Heitger’s Steamboat Stompers. Tim Laughlin, Tuba Skinny, and Kris Tokarski…. And more to come!
